GET TO KNOW

Doughp (think..that’s “dope”) burst onto the dessert scene in 2017 - you may have seen them on Shark Tank! They ship their crave-worthy cookie dough nationwide and also have a store in their hometown of Las Vegas, where you can buy Doughp in scoops like you would at an ice cream parlor - think cups, cones, sundaes.

Edible, bakeable, egg-free, with safe flour.

If you're wondering why you should order cookie dough to be shipped to you vs. just eating some you make yourself, there are two reasons. The first one is because Doughp Cookie Dough is delicious, ready to eat and comes in a lot of fun flavors, so you'd order it because… YUM! The second reason is because it's not actually safe to eat raw cookie dough that's not been specifically made for raw consumption. The ingredients that shouldn't be eaten raw are eggs (there aren't any in Doughp), and flour (Doughp treats theirs to make it safe to eat raw).

Doughp comes in four year-round flavors, plus tasty seasonal flavors, all with creative names like Cranberry Happiness, You Want S'More?, Fairy Dust, and Ride or Die. You can dive right in and eat it raw of course, but you can also bake it and have some Doughp cookies whenever you feel the urge!

FEMALE FOUNDER’S STORY

Founder & CEO Kelsey (Witherow) Moreira started a career in tech at 16 years old, and hustled for a decade in product marketing. She confronted her issues with alcohol and got sober in September 2015, and shortly after, found her passion for baking. She left her tech career and started Doughp, making a splash on Shark Tank, and making the list for the Forbes 30 Under 30, and Vegas 40 Under 40. On Shark Tank, Barbara Corcoran noted her as “the most sophisticated store owner she’d ever met in her life.” Wow, that's some some stellar accolades!

Kelsey continues to share her story of recovery in hopes of inspiring others, and her #Doughp4Hope initiative focuses on reducing stigmas around mental health and addiction. Doughp donates a portion of every purchase to nonprofits in that area, and that provide affordable mental health care and substance abuse treatment. They also "walk-the-walk" by instilling crucial mental health policies for their own staff.
