GET TO KNOW

Admired for being tastemakers in novel ways, RubySnap is an exceptional cookie bakery in Salt Lake City, Utah, celebrated for using fresh ingredients to design innovative flavor combinations.

At RubySnap, they take "real" and "fresh" to a whole new level, thoughtfully using pure chocolates, clean nut butters, local seasonal produce, and rich dairy creams to create top quality cookies. From vanilla beans hand-picked at plantations in Bali to mangoes and coconut brought in from the Philippines. All of which are carefully curated from various farms, fruit orchards and well researched suppliers. Every small batch is hand-prepared to Ruby’s specifications and baked fresh daily.

And the superior quality is carried through to the final product, with these cookies looking like masterpieces of food art... and of course tasting just as good as they look! RubySnap cookies have women's names, with flavors described in detail… Audrey is "almond dough packed full of cranberries, almonds, white chocolate, and adoration"; Frida is "spicy chocolate with a chile de árbol ganache center, with cinnamon-toasted pepitas", Zoey is "blueberry lemon chia with a fresh-squeezed lemon glaze". Check out the rest of the gals on their website!

FEMALE FOUNDER’S STORY

Founder Tami Steggell leveraged her skills gained from a 15-year career in Architectural Design into the innovation of RubySnap - a company that is taking the industry of high-end cookies to its optimal realm. She spent much of her life in the Middle East and traveling Europe and Asia, which inspires her unique flavor combinations. And the RubySnap brand was born through her infatuation with the 1940s era and an idealism of yesteryear, when fresh food meant cooking from crops in season and enjoying the full flavor experience of real ingredients.

With a fearless attitude, Steggell quit her former career and cashed out a $10K IRA to start RubySnap. Her passion for baking and bringing happiness to the mouths of cookie lovers were what carried her through the exponential learning curve of opening a small business.

Tami has appeared in Where Women Do Business magazine, has been selected to teach and speak at universities around the country, and has been a speaker on TV and podcasts on topics such as: Trademarking, Branding, Small Business Strategies, Entrepreneurialism, Leadership, and Social Media, sharing her well earned knowledge.
