The Sweepstakes is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

2. Sponsor

The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Virtual Women's Expo ("Sponsor"), located in California, USA.

3. Agreement to Official Rules

Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.

4. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins on February 1, 2021 at 12:00 am PT and ends on June 30, 2021 at 11:59 pm PT (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Entries that are submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period will be disqualified. Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the Sweepstakes using either of the following methods: 1) Automatic entry by registering for the Virtual Women’s Expo. 2) Entry by email.

5. How to Enter

Method 1: Each person who registers for the Virtual Women’s Expo and is qualified to enter the Sweepstakes per the Sweepstakes Official Rules will be automatically entered.

Method 2: If not registering for the Virtual Women’s Expo, you may enter by sending an email to hello@virtual-womens-expo.com with the Subject “Giveaway Entry”, and including in the body of the email: the entrant’s full name, email address, zip code, and age.

Limit one (1) entry per person, per email address, for the duration of the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of method of entry. If you have registered for the Virtual Women's Expo, you should NOT also enter by email. Entries received from any person, email address, or household in excess of the stated limitation will be void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

6. Prize Drawing

On or about July 1, 2021, the Sponsor will select potential winners in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions and interpretations on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or winner and may refuse to award a prize to a person who is not eligible or has violated a rule, gained unfair advantage in the Sweepstakes, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received.

7. Winner Notification

The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner via email within 48 hours of winner selection. If the potential winner does not reply to the winner notification email within seven (7) days by returning the completed Declaration of Compliance, the potential winner will forfeit the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for misdirected emails, or if potential winner does not locate the email due to it arriving in a junk, spam, social, promotions, or any other folder. Each potential winner (parent/legal guardian if a minor in his/her state of residence) will be required to complete, sign, and return to Sponsor via email a Declaration of Compliance within seven (7) days of the date that the winner notification email is sent, in order to claim the prize. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, or fails to submit the Declaration of Compliance within the required time period, potential winner is disqualified and forfeits the prize. If the potential winner is at least 18 but still considered a minor in her/his jurisdiction of residence, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in the name of her/his parent or legal guardian, who will be required to sign the Declaration of Compliance on the potential winner's behalf and fulfill any other requirements imposed on winner set forth herein. Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may attempt to award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries at Sponsor's discretion. Prize will be sent to winner by email or U.S. Mail as deemed appropriate by the Sponsor, approximately 7-14 days after the Declaration of Compliance has been received by the Sponsor from the winner. If prize is returned as undeliverable, then prize will be forfeited by the winner.

8. Prizes

Prizes are as listed on the Prizes page on the virtual-womens-expo.com website, and are subject to change without notice. Each prize is provided by the Third Party provider shown and is subject to the terms of use of the Third Party providing the prize as noted on or with the prize when received by the winner. Sponsor is not responsible for the fulfillment of or winner's satisfaction with any prize. No cash equivalent or alternative prizes will be given and the prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. All taxes and other expenses, costs, or fees, associated with the acceptance and/or use of any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner(s). Sponsor will not be responsible for any loss, liability or damage arising out of any winner’s acceptance or use of any prize.

9. General Conditions

In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Sweepstakes is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problem, or in the event the Sweepstakes is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorney's fees) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

10. Release and Limitations of Liability

By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the Sweepstakes, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (the "Released Parties)" from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto), including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors associated with the Sweepstakes, including lost, interrupted or unavailable Internet Service Provider (ISP), network, server, wireless service provider, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone, cellular tower or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (c) mechanical, network, electronic, computer, human, printing or typographical errors; (d)application downloads, (e) any other errors or problems in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes, the announcement of the winners, the cancellation or postponement of the event, the processing of entries; or (f) injury, death, losses or damages of any kind, to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, receipt or misuse of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto). Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the entrant be entitled to receive attorney's fees. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. The failure of Sponsor to comply with any provision of these Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of Sponsor (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations), or other “force majeure” event will not be considered a breach of these Rules. IN CONNECTION WITH THE FOREGOING, IF YOU ARE A CALIFORNIA RESIDENT, YOU HEREBY WAIVE CALIFORNIA CIVIL CODE SECTION 1542, WHICH STATES: “A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS WHICH THE CREDITOR DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, WHICH, IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER MUST HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR.” THE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL DAMAGES, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY PARTY BE ENTITLED TO RECOVER PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES OR OTHER SUCH RELATED COSTS OF BRINGING A CLAIM, OR TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENT OR SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR ANY OTHER EQUITABLE RELIEF.

11. Disputes

Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the county of Sacramento, California. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than California.

12. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy, and entrant acknowledges that they have read and accepted Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
