Bible Belles is a children’s book series that presents real heroes like never before, highlighting the stories of five superhero women of the Bible: Hannah, Esther, Abigail, Ruth, and Deborah. Together, they show girls what it means to be truly beautiful. Developed through high quality illustrations, each story presents these women and their positive attributes of bravery, leadership, patience, loyalty, and prayer, and their unique roles in God’s plan. Adapted from the text of the Bible, these stories allow girls to discover how they can become Bible Belles and remake themselves, and the world, from the inside out. The books are made in the USA.
Truth Becomes Her
Truth Becomes her is a space for moms and mentors to gather, grow, and guide girls to discover their true value. Their mission is to shift the conversation around feminine values from being beauty-driven, to a focus on inherent worth. Resources include podcasts, videos, ebooks, and coaching programs. FEMALE FOUNDER’S STORY
Founder Erin Weidemann is a sought-after homeschool consultant, certified teacher, coach, and nationally-recognized speaker. An on-air personality for Air1 Radio, Erin delivers 59 Seconds of Hope daily, as well as hosts the Heroes For Her Podcast where she interviews positive female role models. She is the author of eight books, including the best-selling Bible Belles series. Erin is a five-time cancer survivor, and lives and homeschools in sunny California.
Erin shares the story of how she got the idea for Bible Belles. "We needed a birthday gift for our niece and thought it would be cool to rewrite the Bible story of the woman who shares her name. Hannah was a great, godly woman and our niece could learn about humility, strength, and trust in the Lord.
We gave our niece the book, and we were surprised to find out that she wasn’t familiar with the story of Hannah. We asked around, and it turned out that a lot of girls just aren’t familiar with the stories of the women in the Bible. However, the girls we talked to could name all of the Disney Princesses. If they can do that, we thought, why not women of the Bible? After our ‘girls should know about these women’ moment, Bible Belles was born. That effort blossomed into Truth Becomes Her, a movement to teach the next generation of young women to embrace their worth and calling.
