Founder Deeanne Akerson shares how her passions lead her to create Kindred Bravely: "I am a mom of two boys and lover of all things comfortable yet stylish! I have a passion for family, comfort wear, and inspiring nursing and expecting moms to look and feel their best.
As a nursing mom, I longed for chic, comfortable clothing that really functioned well for nursing. Kindred Bravely is the result of my desire to give back to other expecting and nursing moms who give everything to the little ones in their lives. Every piece of our maternity and nursing wear is designed with comfort, style, and function in mind.
In this fast-paced world, it’s so easy to feel discouraged, like we’re not measuring up to all the moms out there who seem to be doing everything perfectly. Can I tell you a secret? You’re doing a wonderful job. You may not always feel like you are, but I know you’re doing your best. You’re good enough; you’re fun enough; you’re smart enough. You are enough. Be you bravely.”
