FEMALE FOUNDER’S STORY
Founders Elisa Opt Hof and Elena Leppard are two moms with 12 kids between them. Their vision is to help pregnant and breastfeeding moms solve this basic challenge: CLOTHING! After being fed up with the lack of options available for breastfeeding clothes, Elisa realized that what she really wanted was to be able to breastfeed comfortably in her regular wardrobe, but she wasn't happy about having to lift up her shirt and expose her midriff. Then she had a lightbulb moment and realized that what she needed was an undershirt that connected to and opened with her bra. Since there was nothing like that available, she made one herself, and it turned out so well, she wanted to share the product with other moms. Once she patented her tank with the easy one hand nursing access, she knew it would be a game changer for pregnant and nursing moms everywhere. Shortly after, she partnered with Elena, and they've been bringing the Undercover Mama line of amazing clothes to the moms of the world ever since.
